Nadiri Ali, JD (she/her) is a Law and Policy Analyst at the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR). She is responsible for researching, developing, and coding legal databases focused on a broad range of public health issues.

Before beginning her work at CPHLR, she was a research assistant on multiple public health law projects associated with the Center and its affiliates. As a research assistant, she worked on the expansion and creation of multiple datasets concerning educational and professional requirements for local health officers, opioid overdose response, harm reduction, and public health emergency laws. Nadiri has also interned with the Family Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety. During her time in law school, she participated as a student clinician in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and served as the Digital Marketing Director for the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA).

Nadiri received her JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law in May 2024 with a Certificate in Public Health Law Research. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University in 2021, with a BA in Criminal Justice.
