Do HIV Disclosure Laws Reduce Infection?

This project will examine the impact of New Jersey’s HIV disclosure laws on 500 HIV-positive and 250 “at risk” residents of New Jersey.

Measures include participants’ understanding of the law, perceived HIV related stigma, comfort with seropositive status disclosure, HIV testing and sexual behavior.
