Law and Policy Analyst
 
Sabrina Zimmerman, MPH, JD, is a Law and Policy Analyst at the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR). Her role involves researching, developing, and coding legal databases on various public health issues.
 
Before joining CPHLR, she was part of the Public Health Law Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, working with the California Department of Public Health Legal Services Department. Through her experience, she has researched policy topics such as COVID-19 emergency procedures, vaccine mandates, managed care organizations, nursing homes, healthy food, and tobacco. During law school, she interned with the St. Louis University Hospital’s General Counsel office and was a faculty fellow for the Health Law, Policy, and Advocacy course. 
 
Sabrina earned her MPH from the University of Minnesota with a focus on Public Health Administration and Policy and her JD from St. Louis University with an emphasis in Health Law.
