Cydney M. Murray (she/her) is a Law and Policy Analyst at the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR). She is responsible for researching and creating legal datasets across various public health topics.
Before starting in her current position, Cydney was an intern at CPHLR. In that role, she worked on legal datasets pertaining to abortion law and opioid prescribing limits. As an intern, she had the opportunity to present at the APHA 2021 Annual Meeting. While in law school, she interned with several public interest organizations, including Esperanza Immigration Legal Services, Temple Legal Aid Office, and AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she served as Co-President of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice, Community Outreach Coordinator for Black Law Student Association, and Treasurer of Health Law Society.
Cydney received her JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law in May 2022, and recently became eligible for admission to the Bar of the State of New Jersey. She also earned a BS in Public Health with highest honors from Rutgers University.
