Through the use of telecommunication technologies, patients, health care providers, and health care administrators are able to provide health care at a distance. Telehealth practices are regulated at the state level, and those regulations vary from state-to state, by type of medical service being provided and how those services may be reimbursed.

This dataset presents information about the ability of non-physician providers to provide primary care though telehealth and be reimbursed for those services in all 50 states and Washington, DC.
